[Solved] - Weather widget icon in systray - rocky7x - 25th August 2016

Hi,

When I add the weather widget into the systray and set up a proper location, it works fine. But after a sleep and resume or after a reboot, the icon is lost. The space where the icon should be is just empty, the widget is there and I can right click on it and again set up the location, but until the location is set up again, the weather icon is missing. What's the problem? I've tried it both with adding it to the systray and via adding a widget onto the bottom toolbar - behavior is the same.

Thanks for having a look.

Might be an issue in the widget itself as when it is loosing Internet connection it is acting up.
We'll take a look into it

I have the weather forecast widget in my panel and have no problems. Still working normal after reboot. right click panel > panel options > add widgets > get new widgets > download new plasma widgets, type "weather in search bar.............download your choice.

That's probably a different widget. The one I try to use is the default one from the widget list, already available without download. But indeed, I can try to download another one. Thanks for the hint.
