(Solved) Manual switching mandatory between speakers & headphone jack - Kurtbw - 1st October 2016

The thread subject pretty much sums this up.

When I plug a set of headphones in, Maui keeps the audio output on speakers unless I go into System Settings, and tell it to send audio to the headphone jack.

Bug, or feature?  Kindly advise.  Thanks.

Settings: open up /etc/pulse/default.pa as root and uncomment the following line:
Code:
load-module module-switch-on-port-available

Yeah we deactivated this feature due to a bug on normal speaker playback on some machines.
We will evaluate if this is still necessary in the future or if there is another workaround for the affected devices.

Okay.

Done, things behave as I would expect them to, out of the box.

Mark this one, "Solved."
