[Solved] INTEL DUAL BAND WIRELESS-AC 8265 unknown Chipset - Mark Spruce - 1st May 2017 Hello I have just bought a new computer from SagerNotebooks 7th Generation Intel Core i7-7700HQ Processor 17.3" IPS FHD (1920 x 1080) Matte Display with G-SYNC Technology NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 GPU with 8GB GDDR5 16GB Dual Channel DDR4 SDRAM at 2400Mz (2 x 8GB)         250GB Western Digital Blue M.2 SSD + 1TB (7200rpm) HDD Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 Wireless LAN + Bluetooth On the Livekey  when it boots up it says something about unknown chipset.   And when I boot to the key and on the Live system.  There is no WIFI. I guess that has something to do with the chipset. any idea's I am a tad stuck Mark RE: INTEL DUAL BAND WIRELESS-AC 8265 unknown Chipset - Mark Spruce - 2nd May 2017 Just head a read on : http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking.html For my WIFI Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 it says I need Kernel 4.6 loaded. So I will try and install 4.6 and see what happens.
