HELP! WIFI connection lost after standby mode - benit - 5th May 2017
I have the problem that after standby mode in Plasma my Wifi connection does not work. In fact I do not see any Wifi connection and the hardware indicator LED of my laptop that shows that Wifi is active is switched off. After a reboot everything works fine and the Wifi connection is established automatically as it should.
What can I do to fix this problem?
Currently I have no time to drill some holes in the house and route a LAN cable (or a DSL cable) to my laptop. I am under high time pressure.

Sorry but I cannot give you a quickfix. However you can check if maybe hard or softblock is turned on for your wireless device by typing in a terminal

After some restarts it seems that some days later it worked properly. I do not know why, I did not change anything.

This works fine now with maui 17.06 on my notebook!

Yes, thumbs up! Gradually maui is becoming what I was hoping to find on Linux four years ago ;-)
