It is an old issue for my PC !
Sometimes , it can't shut off normally by the menu entry.
The shut off procedure starts , the screen becomes black and I can see two lines of text on the screen. I can see to the 1st line a (tty-something) text and to the 2nd line a login text.
The procedure stops here always.
I have to push the button on the box to shut off .
I had this problem with Linux Mint KDE too. Perhaps not so frequently , but it was always here....
Any help ?
Good News.....
These last 4-5 days, (I don't remember exactly), I can shut down the PC normally every time !
I hope that , this wonderful "evolution" has been caused due to an update , not a miracle or something....
Best regards !!
Yay!!

When I had reported this issue I could not shut down my PC normally at a frequency of one in two-three times approximately.
Sometimes I could , sometimes I could not.
These last ten days I can do the job fine every day and every time, without any exception so far!!
It seems that this problem has been solved...
Best Regards !
