Under "Other Software" I see that maui-2 xenial main is checked by default.
I'm wondering if anyone can give a description of what maui-xenial-backports xenial main and
maui-xenial-backports-neon xenial main would cover?
Any risks/conflicts with activating them as well?

Thanks

In short for now the backports repos don't contain anything newer.

Thanks for the reply.  So if I'm understanding correctly, the backports repos will contain newer/potentially less stable packages?  Also, if that's the case, what is the difference between the 2 backports repos?
One backports repo is for maui specific packages (default artwork & configurations & installer) and the other one is for a cloned (snapshotted) Neon which basically means newer Plasma versions.

got it--thanks for the clarification.
For users who choose to retain the current standard Maui 2 repos ticked/unticked, & who thus are still on Plasma 5.8.2, can you offer any hint as to roughly when your testing of 5.8.3 might be complete, & hence become available to us via Update Manager, pls?
