That didn't work. Also, I find it odd that .xsessions does not show my attempt to logout.
Edit: Is this a bug and if it is should I report it somewhere? Thanks.
Scrap that. Logout works only if I use Breeze or Maui as the Login Manager and turning off Auto login, which I really would prefer to keep.
