Hi,

I have a NVIDIA card and a skylake with internal gfx (on chip). I am using the NVIDIA card as gfx card.
Is it possible to use the skylake gfx processor as CUDA or similar computing chip? Without the NVIDIA card I used to run the BOINC client on the chip but if the dedicated gfx card is installed the intel gfx chip is no longer recognized?

Thanx
Raimund
This is normal, the firmware (BIOS, UEFI) of the main board will automatically disable the on board chip as soon as a card is inserted in the expansion slot.

Thanx,

but is it possible to change this behavior and use the on board chip anyway?

No, not really. It's usually a hardware, as well as a software, limitation or issue.
You would have to look this up in the main boards documentation.
