I faintly remember that I read "somewhere" (sorry!) that Plasma 5.9x will bring back the tabbed widgets so that files can be nicely arranged in a tabbed space on the desktop. Plasma 4 had this by default, so I am sure it was not "fake news".
Can anybody help me with that? If really available I would like to start using them!
Tabbed widgets exactly. And folderview is a widget. So it possible.

How to do it? Just dragging one onto the other leads to a jump around it.
I found an empty widget with a blue exclamation mark in the cirle as it's icon. One has to drag this to the desktop. After that one can drag new widgets into it.
Folder view can be adjusted afterwards for the folder that is currently VISIBLE in the group container.
I miss any means to change the order of the tabs.

Tried dragging and dropping already ? Besides that I am not sure if it is possible.
