Hello

I have just bought a new computer from SagerNotebooks

  • 7th Generation Intel Core i7-7700HQ Processor
  • 17.3" IPS FHD (1920 x 1080) Matte Display with G-SYNC Technology
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 GPU with 8GB GDDR5
  • 16GB Dual Channel DDR4 SDRAM at 2400Mz (2 x 8GB)
        250GB Western Digital Blue M.2 SSD + 1TB (7200rpm) HDD
  • Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 Wireless LAN + Bluetooth

On the Livekey  when it boots up it says something about unknown chipset.   And when I boot to the key and on the Live system.  There is no WIFI. I guess that has something to do with the chipset.

any idea's

I am a tad stuck

Just head a read on :

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/s...rking.html

For my WIFI Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265

it says I need Kernel 4.6 loaded. So I will try and install 4.6 and see what happens.
Better option would be to install the Ubuntu 16.04.2 HWE (as already discussed here on the forum).
got it working upgraded the kernel 4.7
