I see in LinuxMint's July newsletter they are revamping their Software Manager for Mint 18.3. The layout is inspired by Gnome Software, will support HiDPI and launches 3x faster, etc. Looks good.

I noticed that.The present Mint Software Manager is, like Discovery, a sluggish resource hog (at least it's functional).
Maybe the new one will be the SM everybody has been wanting.
