Plasma gives me nice little notifications about all kinds of things... After some seconds they disappear... Some of these notifications are SMS from my smartphone etc.

Is there any history of these notifications GUI-wise so that I can take some more seconds later to read the whole SMS, for example? As an Alternative I have found the option in the settings to write a log-file.

Or can I change the notification duration somehow?

If not - where can I suggest this implementation?

There is no history for notifications that aren't marked as persistent notifications.
Here is a long discussion about this kind of feature. As you can see it is several years old already and this kind of feature seems to be controversial still: https://github.com/blue-systems/plasma-5.4/issues/48

I see... SMS would be a good point in that discussion, wouldn't it? ;-)

Well it's up to the developer of the application, in this case KDE Connect I think, to program the application in such a way that it triggers persistent notifications. Maybe you could try to create a bug for KDE Connect with this..
