Manjaro is based on Arch not Debian/Ubuntu, so if your prior Linux experience is with Debian/Ubuntu-based distros [as my prior experience was] then there is unavoidably a bit of a new-learning curve ahead for you [as was true for me]. You will need to learn some new command tricks for example. IMO this minor hurdle is well worth the effort, considering how good the eventual result is. Of course, everything you already know about KDE itself remains valid.
