Libre Office auto correct, backup files - Zelator57 - 17th January 2017 I found that to get auto correct, specifically the hyphen + hyphen = em-dash, I had to set tools>auto-correct>'while typing'. As the rest of auto correct is set up, perhaps this could be set on by default. I have not had to set this in previous distros. The systray quickstarter has sometimes complained that it can't find a backup file (it does not exist), and then that it doesn't have permissions to it. It also wants to save the "original", which may or may not be the current version, in Documents. All this can safely be ignored, but obviously something is not right. |
