Plasmashell leak memory after dist-upgrade - kevin_tee - 19th February 2017 I am using maui 2 The problem is plasmashell is using more and more memory. I tried run plasmashell in terminal and most of the errors are No metadata file in the package, expected it at: "/home/kevin/variety-wallpaper/" and No metadata file in the package, expected it at: "/home/kevin/.local/share/" What I was using is a software called variety to change the wallpaper Since variety can't change the wallpaper directly, I set to wallpaper setting to slideshow option with the variety wallpaper directory. Memory start filling up, with the error above. The first pic is my system info second is using plain color as wallpaper - no mem leak third is using image - mem increase a little, but it does not continue to increase Forth is using slideshow with variety directory - memory leak sky high, using 100% CPU too (1 thread) Plasmashell is eating 2000000K of mem as of writing this. There are no problem before with exact setting, maybe some upgraded package mess up. Any recommend config file deletion, maybe I mess up the config somewhere Thanks http://imgur.com/SBCkc9B http://imgur.com/a/88Y41 http://imgur.com/a/eWri8 http://imgur.com/a/MsT9K |
