Screen Tearing in Maui but not Neon - robertbrennerr - 10th March 2017
Hello,
I'm experiencing pretty severe screen tearing when dragging windows across the screen and a bit less so when scrolling in windows. This is while using a live USB.
I've installed Neon and do not have any tearing - everything is buttery smooth.
- Might this correct when installed (drivers that may not be installed on the live USB)?
- Are there any settings to correct this in Plasma (Vsync, etc.)?
Processor is Intel i5 - 3320M with 4000 series graphics

Neon uses the modesetting driver for Intel gpus. We still ship the Intel driver for those. If you simply remove the Intel driver after install it will then use the modesetting driver aswell.
