RE: [SOLVED) update to maui 17.03 volume-keys not working - monteleo - 20th March 2017

Removing khotkeysrc and kglobalshortcutsrc solved the problem, I still have a lot of entries as before but now one of the decrease/increase/mute entry is set.
I noticed that the kglobalshortcutsrc file has been recreated and there are a lot of entries under [kmix], probably this is why I have the long list in the systemsetting.

[kmix]

Why do you have kmix installed ? Can you remove it if you don't use it.

RE: [SOLVED) update to maui 17.03 volume-keys not working - monteleo - 20th March 2017

Kmix is not installed..

RE: [SOLVED) update to maui 17.03 volume-keys not working - leszek - 20th March 2017

Oh that makes it even more interesting.
But you are right I also don't have kmix installed still it creates those entries.
From what I can see it creates a volume increase and decrease for each alsa device it detects.

Do you have pulseaudio installed and running ?

RE: [SOLVED) update to maui 17.03 volume-keys not working - monteleo - 20th March 2017

Yes, pulseaudio is installed and running:

I think this is the most important part.
Will ping kde devs to this. Maybe someone can provide an explanation.
