[Solved] - Volume feedback doesn't work - rocky7x - 21st March 2017 Hi, After upgrading to 5.9.3 and replacing the old volume widget with the new one, the volume feedback stopped working (the popping sound when increasing and decreasing the volume). I thought that it happened due to the new widget, but when I removed the new one and put back the old one, it still doesn't work. Other notifications works OK. I have enabled the volume feedback in the widget configuration. Any idea? RE: Volume feedback doesn't work - rocky7x - 21st March 2017 Ok I've found that with a new user it works, when I've uninstalled the win7 volume widget. But in my user it doesn't. Is there any way to reset the audio widget settings? Some rc file maybe? RE: Volume feedback doesn't work - rocky7x - 22nd March 2017 I've found a solution. When I've uninstalled the win7 widget, I had to delete the folder .config/pulse while not being logged in (CTRL+F1 at the login screen). After logging into plasma, the volume feedback works again with the old widget. No idea if this can be used to get the volume feedback with the new widget, but I've not seen that option in its settings.
