MuseScore and Crossover are incompatible with Maui - Nekla - 24th March 2017
I regret to say, I will replace Maui with another Ubuntu based operating system, because there are too many issues. I need MuseScore, because I'm a Musician, and honestly who doesn`t need sometimes Windows software? Installing Crossover starts with an error message.

Musescore can be installed by using the appimage file from the official homepage. Just download the appimage file make it executable in its file properties and double click the file in the dolphin file manager to execute.

The problem with lib32nss-mdns is present in all Debian and Ubuntu based systems - so Maui is not to blame
