Snap only works the second try. - vonneuton - 3rd April 2017 So, I'm having this problem where if I try to drag a window to snap it (drag to corners, top of screen, or left or right of screen) it never works the first time. I always have to drag it a second time. Is this fixable? RE: Snap only works the second try. - leszek - 3rd April 2017 It usually should work the first time. You just need to wait until the animation starts which indicates the new snapping window position. At least it works fine this way here. RE: Snap only works the second try. - vonneuton - 3rd April 2017 Ok, I have more information. It only happens when I try to move a window that was snapped when it was closed to another snapped position upon opening it. Sorry, I mistakenly assumed it was happening to all windows, it does not happen to non-snapped windows the first try. RE: Snap only works the second try. - leszek - 3rd April 2017 OK if you think this behavior is a bug report it upstream to bugs.kde.org My guess is that this intentional. So you basically need to unsnap the window first before snapping it somewhere else. RE: Snap only works the second try. - vonneuton - 4th April 2017 Okie dokie. Will do. Thanks for responding so quickly! |
