Variety Wallpaper changer problem - jwegier - 2nd September 2017
Hello.
I have installed Variety wallpaper changer, picked the folder with my wallpapers and set Variety preferences to use this particular folder (clicking the Use button)
Variety not only does not change the wallpapers but clicking the "Next" option from the Variety icon on the Panel, does not trigger a wallpaper change. Clicking a wallpaper image from Variety Wallpaper selector also does not trigger a wallpaper change.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Variety and rebooted and still, Variety does work
is it a known issue of did I miss something?

Hi, what is your setup in KDE wallpaper settings ?
Set the "wallpaper type" to Slideshow, "change every" to ~10s and add $HOME/Pictures/variety-wallpaper as a folder.
It should work then (this 10s is just for KDE to notice the change, you still adjust all the settings in variety preferences).
