Boot error - Windows interferes with disk mounting - benit - 26th March 2018
Dear all!
I have a Win10 Maui 17.06 dual boot installation, but something seems to have changed with Windows as I cannot boot Maui any more:

It points to the problem that Windows seems to somehow block the disk so that Maui cannot mount it. The thing is that this happens regardless if I shut down Windows completely, use real standby or "just" energy saving mode.
Please let me know what I can do so that the disc is no longer made "unclean" by Win 10.

Run fsck.ntfs on the disk and see if it solves the issue for now.
If Windows does this on purpose we cannot do anything to prevent it.
