automatic sound switch? - imageraw - 28th March 2018 hello, apologies if this has already been addressed elsewhere - in which case, could you please point in the right direction: on maui (plasma version 5.10.2) I can't find a way to have both speakers and headphones always on - e.g., I am listening to music through the pc speakers, and i want to plug in and use my headphones: if I do, I need to click on the sound icon on the taskbar, click on "speaker", and then tick off "headphones" (and the other way around). any ideas/solutions? thanks. RE: automatic sound switch? - leszek - 29th March 2018 Usually this should work automatically. Can you check with alsamixer inside the terminal if this feature is switched on for your hardware. Execute alsamixer -c0 to get the alsa device and not the pulse dummy one. |
