Advice on upgrading to Bionic Beaver LTS base - Kurtbw - 27th September 2018 Just asking. "Installing from a fresh Neon ISO" might work, if I can correctly back up a home folder. Last time I tried that, I borked a machine, and still haven't found the time to fix that one. So, might there exist some way to have Maui upgrade itself to Bionic Beaver-based Neon? Mac OS X somehow manages to upgrade between major versions without making an ugly mess, or knowing unix-fu. JMO, but this is one area desktop flavors of Linux could use some work. |
