I downloaded these base-files before reading this thread  :( I searched synaptic for 9+p8+git20160813.1003 as suggested to downgrade to but can't find it...is this the right place to look or have ...

Interested to read this as my system seems a lot slower then Netrunner 14 to boot, just timed it at 1min 40 seconds from the grub menu appearing until the desktop is ready to use.
