DAV groupware password - jrasmussen - 10th October 2016 I use the web service FastMail for my email/calendar/contacts. I was able to connect the KDE PIM to these services, which is fantastic, but I am being asked for a password for each service every time I start up and log in. Is there a way to have those passwords remembered and auto login? (I do not have KDE Wallet enabled at this time as I prefer to use Enpass as my password manager, but if that is what would be needed I'm certainly willing to give it a go) Thanks! RE: DAV groupware password - AJSlye - 10th October 2016 Normally, yes Kontact can save the passwords, but will need kwallet to do so. I believe so...CardDAV for contacts and CalDAV for calendar. So if I enable KWallet, will it walk me through configuration or would passwords be stored automatically? (Sorry if these are basic questions, I'm coming from GNOME and have little experience with KDE) *UPDATE well, that was almost too easy. I enabled KWallet, rebooted, entered my passwords, rebooted again, and now not prompting for them. Thanks again! |
