Following this bug report,
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=371129
the french translation was improved and include in kde-l10n-fr (16.12.1).
I am unable to find the corresponding ubuntu or debian package.
Is there any chance to get it in a near future ?

Neon isn't packaging the kde-l10n* packages unfortunately. (as they are planned to go away as the translation will be included in the app packages itself)
This means we are using the ubuntu ones.

We have to discuss how we want to proceed with this.
I'll keep you updated on this.

Leszek,
I found this ppa :
https://launchpad.net/~kubuntu-ppa/+arch.../+packages
And installed the Kde-l10 fr 16.12.1 for the next Zesty ubuntu distribution.
It works perfectly for me since a few days.
I hope this could help in updating language pack for maui 3 !! Shy

It is now two weeks i am running with the french translation package from :
https://launchpad.net/~kubuntu-ppa/+arch...plications

It updated to 16.2.2 a few days ago.
This ppa is owned by J. Ridell
https://launchpad.net/~kubuntu-ppa
Won'it be worse to check it for language pack for the next Maui 3 ?

Next Maui is out now btw. We changed the versioning to year.month so it is called 17.03 and yes we integrated those kde apps translations in our repositories.
