how to backup file comments and tags?

I would like to use file comments and tags on my files as this would be very useful. But how can I ensure that this work is not lost, if my installation should be corrupted or I need to upgrade or make a fresh install.

This is saved in the directory ~/.local/share/baloo/.

If you backup the whole /home partition or folder it should be enought to save this too.
