Maui 17.06 : How to install software manager?

I have upgraded to Maui 17.06 via backports, but software manager is not installed. What is the package name for it?

In any versión of Maui are Software Manager, but we have Synaptic.

Sorry, I do not understand. I know the software manager from Linux Mint, but in Maui 17.03 or upgraded to 17.06 I cannot find it in the apps.

Yes, because Maui (also, in the past, I was use Linux Mint), Maui not have a software manager for search software / apps.

You can install all software / apps with Synaptic.

You can install a software manager but...I think its better iddea use Synaptic.

Ok, I see. Nevertheless I liked the software manager of Mint very much and my understanding from the Plasma 5.10 presentation video on

https://www.kde.org/announcements/plasma-5.10.0.php

is that even from krunner directly the software centre / "Discover" should open, if an application is not installed.

   

I hope that somebody can shed some light on this.

Installing plasma-discover will give you this "software center".
