Have you tried a different USB stick?

It seems that USB-stick was the cause, tried another - it works. But as in Ubuntu 16.04.1 internet connection is slower (YouTube works slower, but not much, also GooglePlay can't be loaded when I share Wi-Fi to smartphone. Thanks.

As for your other issue mentioned, I'd recommend opening separate threads for each one.
