Select best mirror for updates - Synaptic (or other)

hi there,

as my updates are quite slow compared to before (meaning since installing maui) i looked where to select the download server/mirror in synaptic - as described here.

But these settings can not be found in synapic->respositories.

Is there a way to select the mirrors? At least for me it seems to be quite a slow one currently (archive.ubuntu for example)

In the update-manager (mintupdate) you can configure the repositories and set a mirror server if necessary.
I think the direct command is software-properties-kde
