Hi. I am overwhelmingly pleased to have found Maui & moved from Mint to it last year. That said, every now & then i come across certain little issues in Maui that i know Mint does [or, at least, used to do] a bit better. One of them concerns Update Manager.
In Maui, UM's "Description" pane, below the list of packages for update, usually tells me little or nothing about what the package is, what it does, what the update is for. Given that a lot of the packages are unknown to me, i always like to read their Description, but in Maui's UM this is mostly unhelpful. Conversely Mint UM's pane is usually quite expansively explanatory.
To illustrate with an "easy" example, apt, pls see these pics, Maui then Mint [18 KDE]:
Is there some way that we can have a similar level of UM Description pane info as in Mint pls?
