Update manager has been behaving strangely recently. If I try to run updates soon after I log on it claims something, I forget exactly what, is already running. If I try again later it runs but the list of updates is shorter, not including the "also needed" set of linux*. If I leave the updater for half an hour or so before running it there is no problem, but I have had no linux* updates while the Lubuntu on my notebook has.

Did you tried hitting refresh on the update manager ?
Also notice that the linux images package need to be explictely marked for installation. Do you use the same Ubuntu repositories for Lubuntu in Maui ? If not like for example you have proposed checked in Lubuntu it could explain why it does not appear in the update manager as we don't activate proposed packages by default. |
