I use krunner (alt+F2) quite a lot - and just saw that, when starting synaptic through krunner it does not start with administrator privileges (no box to enter password appears) - so no changes/installations can be done.
When opening synaptic through the menu the box appears.
Can anyone confirm that?
Would be nice to have the programs starting uniform/with the same options - whatever the way is you start it (menu, krunner, terminal).
