Keyboard shortcut for activities not working

Thank you for your suggestions. It does not make any difference if the activities are in use or not. As far as I can see Ctrl+Shift+D is not in use within the global shortcuts
It seems to be an issue of plasma 5 In plasma 4 I had the same thing working without problem
I intend to pose this question in the KDE forums as well
