This version does not provide anything newer than Gnome 3.18 including Evolution.
There is a Gnome 3 Staging PPA which offers newer packages though there is a big warning on top of the PPA that it might break stuff. https://launchpad.net/~gnome3-team/+arch...e3-staging

Thank you for your advice. I added the repository and I got Evolution 3.20.5. It is not the newest stable version 3.22.x. But it is better than 3.18.x I had by the usual repositories of Ubuntu. It looks like that everything is working fine.
