Did you tried hitting refresh on the update manager ?
Also notice that the linux images package need to be explictely marked for installation.
Do you use the same Ubuntu repositories for Lubuntu in Maui ? If not like for example you have proposed checked in Lubuntu it could explain why it does not appear in the update manager as we don't activate proposed packages by default.
