I've extracted using Ark but at present I have another problem with Maui.
My machine has multi-boot for Debian and Maui. Debian was my main linux. Originally I used Fedora (KDE) but when they released the workstation, cloud and server versions, I had problems upgrading so switched to Debian. For some reason the Debian had problems using Wine, it was not properly installed because I'd sort of upgraded Fedora to Debian because my home was a seperate partition.
I always seem to take the awkward route in everything!
When I installed Maui, the Wine worked fine. (I run genealogical program FTM2006, originaly on Windows but continued in Linux, hence need for wine)
Anyway, cutting to the chase, I added Chakra to the choice. All worked fine at first but yesterday and today I found that if I booted Maui, it worked fine up to the logon but after that I ended up with a blank screen except for the cursor. Nothing seem to happen after that!
So I've now apparently lost Maui. Probably I'll need to re-install it from scratch.
This makes my problem with Tor redundant. If I ever get Maui fixed I'll try again with Tor and report here but don't hold your breath. Knowing me I'll probably end up dumping Maui.
end of moaning, I'll see what happens next. Bye and thanks for all your help.
