When moved or copied some file in my hard disk, some times, I like view the transfer rate.
If I moved or copied like root, appears a windows with transfer rate.
But if I made this operations with not root, not appears transfer rate, its possible configured for appear this transfer rate only when I want with my user?
Thanks.
Hi wonder. Oh golly, this problem you have surprises me. If i have correctly understood you, it does not happen for me. Eg, in this pic, i tested by copying a large directory from my internal HDD to my internal SSD, & i simply did it by dragging & dropping in Dolphin, as my normal user, not root. Is that what you mean, & if so, is this the result you desire:
PS -- Oh, i see, you explicitly said "transfer rate". What i see is not technically a rate [ie, MB/s], but only a progress indicator. Yes, i also would like to see the actual rate.
EDIT - Sigh, my "PS" was dumb - the last line clearly shows the rate, but i somehow missed seeing it before.
