One observation after update to Plasma 5.12.1.
Before login screen I got a virtual keyboard.
A workaround was proposed :
https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=25...oard+login
I added

[general]
InputMethod=

in
/etc/sddm.conf

Hope that will help some of you.
