Cannot get a working Skype

Hello,

I am forced to use Skype as legacy application, but after installing Skype starts and by "Register by Microsoft" enters in an infinite loop. I did try several versions and it is always the same. The gnome keyring daemon is running.

Where is the trick?

Approx. 20 years ago Microsoft explained that an application is so good as the own error handling routines...
