One observation after update to Plasma 5.12.1.
Before login screen I got a virtual keyboard.
A workaround was proposed :

I added

[general]
InputMethod=

in
/etc/sddm.conf

Hope that will help some of you.

Saw the virtual keyboard as well after the update.

Dunno if it will happen again after another reboot. Didn't pose a terribly great issue for me. I hit a key & it went away. Minor annoyance.

Yeah, vkeyboard seems like an upstream decision.

delete : qtvirtualkeyboard and qtvirtual keyboard plugin
