Happy New Year!

The people, I got confused. When choosing a distribution, I noticed that in Mint KDE in fstab the discard parameter is absent, and Maui has it. And in the internet write, who is in that much. Type, it's bad or not, without him it's bad, but it's good. Not very clear - it turns out developed from Mint believe that this is bad, and Maui - that goes and discard. In general, is it worth it to drive around this, if I put on SSD?
And something needs to be changed with the staffing schedule, which runs once a week trim?

Modern filesystems take care of running without a problem on the SSDs.
There is no need to adapt anything. The same goes for trim.
