If you want a newer Plasma it is recommend now to follow the KDE Neon user repositories. This will continuously upgrade Plasma, KF5 and KDE Applications.

For this to work you only need to add the following line as repository in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/neon.list

Code:
deb http://archive.neon.kde.org/user/stable xenial main

There will be an official announcement (especially useful for existing users) coming later this year.

Hi Leszek,
updating to Plasma 5.13. series lead to a slightly inconsistent menu for system-config, a mixture between the menu settled by Maui and the default menu of KDE Neon.
Is there a way to find the config file use by Maui to organise its menu ?

Thanks for the suggestions.

My problem is not located in kmenu but within Sytem Settings, where by example I have 2 instances of desktop Behavior, where Input Devices has no Mouse Control available (Missing library !).

In kmenu edit I cant access to the configuration of Sytem Settings items.

Sorry for my poor explanations.

Thanks a lot.

So I found a brutal method :
erase default-systemsettings-settings and systemsettings
Then reboot
install systemsettings
You now have the systemsetting menu according to Neon.

So the idea is to remove the configuration files added by Maui for system setting, and overwrite by the one of Neon.
You have to remove (purge) :
the pkg :default-systemsettings-settings (the Maui parameters)
the pkg : systemssettings (4.5.13 neon)
I chose to reboot the system, it may be enough to disconnect !
Then you install again systemssettings 4.5.13 which write the neon parameters.
You can do that with synaptic, that is what i did.

Hope this help.
