I checked a Maui installation on a mac MacBookPro.

I followed the scheme proposed by :
http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/install-linux-macbook-pro/
I reduced the OSX partition to 100 Gio and install Maui on the available 150 Gio.
I used separated / and /home partition for Maui.
Following the proposed scheme, I Configure keyboard to MacIntosh. at the end of the installation process i do as suggested by the scheme i installed efibootmgr.
I get the following configuration (part of the file):
BootOrder 0000,0000
Boot 0000* ubuntu
Boot 0080* MacOSX
Bootorder 0000,0000
Boot 0081* MacOSX
Boot 0082* MacOSX
sudo efibootmgr -o 0.80 did change any things.

I restart and I get directly the boot on Maui ! it takes as few time as for OSX !
To boot to OSX I iused the option key at start.

Then as suggested you have to adjust the screen configuration under Maui. After numerous tests i used the following parameters:
Resolution screen 1440x900
Scaling factor: 1

Style breeze
Window decoration breeze or carbon
Theme : Simple Flow.
Color carbon

Sound OK, Network OK , WiFi OK
Conclusion, Maui a great distribution.[Image: smile.gif]
I hope this could help
