I hope i'm not about to ruin my hard-fought KWin / plasmashell stability again. According to https://www.nvidia.co.uk/download/driver...1630/en-uk   &   http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverRes...1596/en-us, for my GeForce GT 610:

So now i'm about to let Maui's Driver Manager upgrade my Nvidia driver from 367.57 to 375.20. I do hope it won't all go pear-shaped again...

It is always a risk relying on those proprietary drivers.

Heehee, yes, i am learning to know exactly what you mean by that anxiety. But so far i can tell you it's good news. I rebooted to make the new driver "stick", & so far KWin / plasmashell has not let me down. I won't yell "yay" yet, but i might cautiously whisper it...
