rocky7x/kdemeoz: I feel your frustation related to the Rolling model, as its currently "bleeding edge" from neon side compared to a QA check like Manjaro does, but:
Dont give up yet, we are working on exactly that topic with a new repository structure, that allows for a much more riggid QA control for Maui on xenial, before we give any green light and release it, albeit with a slight delay over neon.
Any Maui 1 user will be able to switch to that QA channel, and still get the latest updates, but possibly skipping 5.8.0 zero-day releases and waiting for some fixed version 5.8.1 just 1 week later.
That will also be planned default behaviour from Maui 2 and upward releases.
It is expected to happen shortly after the release of Plasma 5.8.1, so just around the corner.
