I'd recommend option 2 if you are only going to use one monitor connected to the nvidia card.

Hi AJSly,
Why should she use the Nvidia card if it is slower than the Intel one and gives more problems? My experience is that Intel GPUs are much better for desktop usage, have much less bugs and when no gaming is required, are a better option.
