email link via drag-and-drop does not work

I tried to drag-and-drop an email link from Kmail to a desktop folder hoping that when I click the link it would open the correct email within Kontact.
This does not work. Do I need to configure something for this to work properly?

This seems to be a bug to me.
Can you search on bugs.kde.org if it is already known. Was this supported in earlier versions? (Reading this old thread I get doubt that this was ever integrated https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?t=60580) |
