Edit Reason: tested with new user
)
I've done some testing. In my Maui 1 (completely updated to 5.8.2) and Maui 2 (fresh clear installation) virtualboxes, it doesn't happen. There the logout sequence is normal (though without the dimming animation, but it's normal, without the prompts and crashes). I've checked the kwallet manager and found that the only difference is that in my normal system, kiod5 application is connected to the wallet, whereas is VMs it is not. I've also checked the process list, in my normal system kiod5 is running, while is VMs it doesn't run. No idea why there is this difference, nor if it is causing the problem. But both Maui 1 VM and normal system are updated to the same package level.
EDIT: OK tested it with a completely new user on my normal system - happens there as well, just without the kiod5 prompt. So it's not the problem of kiod5.
Is there a way I can check it in some logs? If yes, which logs?
